On February 11th, the basement of Area and Area B of the Shantytown Reconstruction Project in Mongolia, aided by the People's Republic of China and undertaken by MCC2, successfully achieved the goal of capping.
This project is located in the center of Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia, with a total land area of 3.8 hectares and a total construction area of 93954 square meters, mainly including 8 residential buildings, underground garage, supporting equipment rooms, outdoor activity venues, community roads, greening and hardening, external network and other construction contents. Among them, the total length of the basement in Area and Area B is 120.5 meters, the building height is 3.4 meters, the underground floor, the reinforced concrete frame structure, and the independent foundation. After the completion of the two basements, there will be 280 parking spaces and 63 parking spaces on the ground, which will greatly improve the living conditions and living environment of the people in Ulan Bator, and will be beneficial to further expand the development space of Ulan Bator and enhance the function of urban services. Since the construction of the
project started, the project department has overcome the unfavorable factors such as epidemic situation, customs clearance and personnel entry and exit, broken through the construction difficulties of large raft foundation concrete pouring volume, complex construction technology, huge support system and high quality requirements, formulated construction organization design and construction plan, and continuously optimized the construction period, quality and safety. To ensure the steady progress of the project and the successful completion of the main structure of the basement in Area and Area B, the project was commended by the Ministry of Construction of Mongolia, and the Minister of Construction of Mongolia, Meng and Bartel, presented honorary certificates to the technical team.
