Seven new provincial green mines in Wuhu City

Recently, the Department of Natural Resources of Anhui Province announced the first batch of provincial green mine selection list, 41 mines in the province were selected, including 7 mines such as Wuhu Elephant Ceramics Co., Ltd. and Maojiashan Siliceous Raw Material Mine. Since

2016, Wuhu has vigorously promoted the conservation and intensive utilization of mineral resources, starting with the construction of green mining demonstration zones and green mines. In accordance with the principle of "must be built", the city's production and capital construction mines have created a number of excellent green mining enterprises, setting an example for the city's mining enterprises, with the goal of creating new mining enterprises with eco-friendly, harmonious environment, technological innovation, energy saving and emission reduction, mine harmony and excellent corporate culture, based on the law and regulations and standardized production.

Up to now, there are 28 mines in Wuhu City with the title of green mine, of which 9 mines have been selected into the national green mine list, 7 mines have been selected into the provincial green mine list, and 12 mines have been selected into the municipal green mine list.
