In order to thoroughly grasp the implementation of water administrative law enforcement and water affairs inspection in prefectures and cities, and effectively promote the timely rectification of the problems found in the inspection, from February 15 to 17, 2023, the Water Administration Department of the Water Resources Department of Guangdong Province and the Hanjiang River Basin Administration of Guangdong Province formed a working group to carry out open and secret visits to Huilai County and Chaozhou City of Jieyang City. Through listening to reports, consulting account information, discussing and exchanging, and on-site verification, the
working group supervised and inspected the implementation of the "three systems" of water administrative law enforcement, the handling of cases, the daily inspection work and the rectification of the problems found in the previous inspection, and put forward guidance and clear requirements for further standardizing the implementation of the work and improving the quality and effectiveness of the work. At the same time, the working group also adopted the "four not two straight" approach to go deep into the border section of Chaozhou and Meizhou in the Hanjiang River Basin, and carried out unannounced visits to the problems of encroachment on rivers and lakes and illegal sand mining by "ants moving" during the dry season. Leaders
of Jieyang Water Conservancy Bureau, Huilai County Water Conservancy Bureau, Chaozhou Water Affairs Bureau and other relevant units participated in relevant activities.
