On June 13-14, Liu Qianlong, deputy director of the River and Lake Bureau of the Yangtze River Commission, led a team to investigate the planning and management of sand mining in the Ganjiang River in Ji'an City.
In the downtown area, the research team went to the video conference room of the Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau and the Xinluling Sandstone Company to inspect the construction and operation of the information platform for river sand and gravel management in Ji'an City and the management of the state-owned sand and gravel company. The research team fully affirmed that Ji'an City took the lead in carrying out the innovative practice of intelligent sand mining supervision in the whole province. Suggestions and suggestions on the optimization of platform operation are put forward. During the discussion, the research team listened to the report on the management of river sand mining in Ji'an City, and fully affirmed the reform measures taken by Ji'an City to implement the "four unification, two integration" mode of unified management of river sand and gravel resources by the government.
In Taihe County, the research team went to Zhoutou Sand Yard, the mining area along the stream, and the centralized berthing point of sand mining vessels in Taihe County to conduct in-depth exchanges and guidance on the implementation of the responsibility system for sand mining management in Ji'an City, the daily supervision and management of licensed mining areas, inspection and law enforcement, information management, and the centralized berthing management of sand mining vessels.
