Recently, the original exhibition of Grand Marshal Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, "Brief History of Guangdong Shimin Soil Factory, the First Official Cement Plant in China", was officially opened to the public on the first floor of the North Building of the Museum. Guangdong Shimin Cement Plant is the first government-run cement plant in China and the earliest cement plant in Guangdong. It has a history of nearly 30 years from 1906 to 1935. It has made contributions in resisting western economic aggression, recovering national rights and interests, and promoting the modern construction of Guangdong. It is worth mentioning that in the 1930s, two years before the shutdown of Guangdong Shimin Soil Factory, it merged into Guangdong Xicun Shimin Soil Factory and became its "Henan Branch Factory". The "Wuyang Brand" cement produced by Shimin Soil Factory in Xicun, Guangdong, is sold well at home and abroad, and its reputation has spread far and wide. In 1955, Shimin Soil Factory in Xicun was renamed Guangzhou Cement Factory. In 2003, the factory moved to Huadu.

Republic of China Guangdong Xicun Shimin Earth Factory Wuyang Brand Packaging Paper In 1917 and 1923, Sun Zhongshan twice borrowed the office building of the factory as the residence of the Grand Marshal's Office, opened the office and established the revolutionary regime. To carry out the movement to protect the law and the Eastern and Northern Expeditions, and to realize the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. The old site of the Grand Marshal's Palace in Guangzhou is not only a national key cultural relic protection unit, but also a historical witness of the first successful use of the revolutionary magic weapon of the "United Front" by the Communist Party of China and its brilliant achievements. Today, the two existing buildings in the north and south of the site are the only remaining buildings of the factory, which were selected as the "fourth batch of China's 20th Century Architectural Heritage List" in 2019.
