Beijing time, Longji Green Energy officially announced at Intersolar Europe 2023 that, certified by the European Solar Energy Testing Agency ESTI, Longji Green Energy has achieved 33.5% conversion efficiency of crystalline silicon-perovskite tandem cells on commercial-grade textured CZ silicon wafers.
Earlier, on May 24, Longji Green Energy just announced that it had achieved 31.8% conversion efficiency of crystalline silicon-perovskite tandem cells on commercial-grade textured CZ silicon wafers. This means that in less than a month, Longji has once again increased the absolute value of the efficiency by 1.7 percentage points.
It is understood that 33.5% is the highest efficiency of crystalline silicon-perovskite tandem cells based on commercial CZ silicon wafers, which once again demonstrates the significant efficiency advantages of crystalline silicon-perovskite tandem cells as a new battery technology. The theoretical efficiency limit of
crystalline silicon solar cells is 29.4% , and tandem solar cells are recognized by the industry as the main technical way to break through the efficiency limit of crystalline silicon. Previously, the international authoritative certification efficiency of stacked batteries developed by Longji Green Energy exceeded 25.7% and 29.55% in 2021 and 2022, respectively, and was selected as the "China's Highest Efficiency Table of Solar Cells" issued by the Photovoltaic Professional Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society in that year, representing the highest efficiency level of the battery technology in China. According to the team that broke through the efficiency of stacked batteries, from December 31, 2022 to June 14, 2023, the team increased the efficiency from 29.55% to 33.5%, achieving an absolute increase of 3.95% in nearly half a year.
Since April 2021, Longji Green Energy has refreshed the world record of solar cell efficiency 14 times, and is the founder of the world record of silicon solar cell conversion efficiency. Previously, the conversion efficiency of silicon heterojunction cells independently developed by Longji Green Energy reached 26.81%, breaking the world record of dust-laden silicon cell efficiency for five years.

At Intersolar Europe 2023, the silicon heterojunction conversion efficiency 26.81% world record concept product independently developed by Longji Green Energy in November 2022 was also displayed on the exhibition stand.
This concept product, named 2681, weighs 31.8 kg, has a product size of 2278 mm × 1134 mm, and generates more than 600 W.
It is reported that from laboratory data to conceptual products, Longji Green Energy Team only spent half a year. The landing of the concept product also means that the product is closer to mass production.
It can be seen that every technological breakthrough of Longji Green Energy is not based on the data advancement of the laboratory, but guided by industrialization, which rapidly introduces the advanced frontier technology into mass production worldwide, so as to promote the technological upgrading of the whole industry.
