Anhui Provincial Department of Water Resources inspects the management of sand mining in the Yangtze River during the mining ban period

By combining vehicles and boats,

the inspection team went to provincial and relevant city and county law enforcement bases to inspect the situation of on-duty duty and video surveillance inspection, inspected the situation of Zhengpu Port Basin dredging and mud dumping area in Ma'anshan City on the spot, and inspected the ship management of Yian District, Wuhu City, Ma'anshan City and county centralized berthing points in Tongling City. A discussion was held on how to do a good job in the management of sand mining during the prohibition period.

The inspection team requests that, first, we should conscientiously implement the spirit of the Leading Group Meeting of the Cooperation Mechanism of Sand Mining Management in the Yangtze River Course of the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Transport and the Provincial Conference on Sand Mining Management in the Yangtze River Course, earnestly fulfill the responsibilities of sand mining management in the Yangtze River Course during the prohibition period, and resolutely maintain the order of sand mining management in the river course; Secondly, we should further strengthen duty, implement the system of leadership and 24-hour duty, comprehensively use the means of "civil air defense + technical defense", increase the frequency of inspection in key river sections and sensitive waters, and timely detect and deal with sand-related emergencies; Third, we should further strengthen the management of sand-related vessels, dismantle and ban newly seized "three nothingness" illegal sand dredgers in time according to regulations, ensure dynamic zero clearance, and curb illegal sand mining from the source; Fourth, to further improve the work of safety in production, summer is a period of frequent rainstorms, strong winds and other bad weather, to effectively enhance the safety awareness of law enforcement personnel, to ensure the safety of law enforcement and personal safety; Fifthly, we should further strengthen the linkage of departments and regional cooperation, integrate law enforcement resources, increase the intensity of defense, and form a working situation of joint management and joint defense and control between upstream and downstream, left and right bank regions, so as to ensure that the situation of sand mining management continues to be stable and good.
