Jidong Cement-Limestone Aggregate Reconstruction and Expansion Project Completed and Put into Production

Chulute Cement Lime Salt Mine, a subsidiary

of Jidong Cement Abaga Banner Co., Ltd., is the only enterprise with high-quality limestone resources in the alliance, with calcium oxide content of more than 50% and silicon content of less than 5% . In order to give full play to the advantages of mine resources, the enterprise implemented the limestone aggregate reconstruction and expansion project in 2023, with a total investment of 35 million yuan and an annual processing capacity of 1 million tons of limestone aggregate. Since the trial operation on September 21, 3500 tons of ore have been produced and processed normally. On the basis of the original ore processing, the

limestone aggregate reconstruction and expansion project will screen the raw ore into three categories: above 20 mm, 5-20 mm and below 5 mm. Through secondary crushing, the ore above 20 mm can reach the standard of 5-20 mm and be sold as fine ore to power plants in the League for use as thermal power desulfurization devices, and the remaining ore below 5 mm can continue to be used as cement raw materials for production in the plant. The project subdivides and processes the raw ore, which greatly avoids the waste of high-quality ore and improves the utilization efficiency of resources. Since January 2023, the

project has completed the project filing in Abaga Banner Development and Reform Commission. After the preliminary formalities and the project construction period, it took 9 months to put into operation and achieve results within the year, which can fully meet the needs of power plants in the League for limestone ore. It can increase the output value of enterprises by 36.225 million yuan annually, and the profit and tax amount reaches 12.5352 million yuan.
