for Centralized Procurement of Photovoltaic Inverters On 9 June, China Nengjian issued the Tender Announcement for Centralized Procurement of Photovoltaic Inverters for 2023-2024. The tender announcement shows that the total procurement scale is 8GW .

1. The bidding scope

The cumulative domestic shipment of string PV inverters with rated power of 175KW and above in the recent three years (from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022) of the bidder of the third package is not less than 1GW.

Details of each project are as follows:

(1) Three Gorges Energy Qinghai Qingyu DC Phase II Bid Section 3 1000 MW Photovoltaic Solar Thermal Project Gonghe 900 MW Photovoltaic Project

The project is located in Hainan, Qinghai Province. In Gonghe County, Xizangan Autonomous Prefecture, it is located in the south of Hainan Ecological Solar Power Park. The project is planned to be a 900MW photovoltaic power generation project, with a DC side installed capacity of 1037. The project is about 33 km away from Gonghe County. The site is flat and open, and the site is grassland or semi-degraded grassland. The site is adjacent to Gongyu Expressway and G214 National Highway, with convenient external traffic conditions.

(2) Three Gorges Energy Qinghai Golmud 1100 MW Photovoltaic Solar Thermal Project 1000 MW Photovoltaic

Project The project is located in Wutumeiren Solar Power Generation Base, Golmud City, Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province. 1000MW photovoltaic power generation project is planned, with installed capacity of 1211 at DC side. The project is about 145km away from Golmud City in the east and about 20km away from Wutumeiren Township in the west. Provincial Highway S303 passes through about 8m in the north of the site. Except that the connecting road between S303 Provincial Highway and the internal road of the base is " bidding scope

(1), the project is not divided into bid sections. The bidding scope covers the P-type monocrystalline double-sided double-glass photovoltaic modules and ancillary equipment required for the Gonghe 900 MW photovoltaic project of the Three Gorges Energy Qinghai Qingyu DC Phase II Bid Section 3 and the 1000 MW photovoltaic project of the Three Gorges Energy Qinghai Golmud 1100 MW photovoltaic photothermal project. It is estimated that the total procurement capacity is about 2249.

The bidder shall provide the PV module product body and its ancillary equipment (including junction box component connecting wire, connecting wire between upper and lower rows of components in the same bracket, MC4 plug and special tools, etc.), supporting services, etc., which meet the requirements of total capacity and peak power. The details are as follows:

design, manufacture, test, packaging, transportation, delivery and on-site installation guidance of auxiliary devices, spare parts and special tools necessary for the normal operation of photovoltaic modules and equipment, and provision of factory drawings (if any) and data. As well as the quality inspection, test, trial operation and acceptance, preparation of technical documents and other work in the field installation and commissioning stage.
