Recently, TCL Zhonghuan and the Management Committee of Yinchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Ningxia have reached cooperation on the construction of an intelligent factory with an annual output of 35 GW high-purity solar ultra-thin monocrystalline silicon wafers and supporting projects. The total investment of the project is 4.1 billion yuan, and the overall planning capacity of G12 silicon wafer is 35 GW.
It is reported that this project is the second major project of TCL Central in Yinchuan Economic Development Zone. Zhonghuan 50GW (G12) Solar Grade Monocrystalline Silicon Material Intelligent Factory Project, which was officially put into operation in 2021, is the largest and most intelligent monocrystalline silicon production base in the world.
