In recent years, Jiangxi's new energy industry has witnessed explosive growth, with business income of 406.51 billion yuan in 2022, an increase of 120.3%, accounting for 8.4% of the regulated industry, an increase of 4.2 percentage points over 2021, and a contribution rate of 61.5% to the province's industrial growth. In order to further promote the new energy industry to achieve better results on the basis of major breakthroughs in high-quality development in the past, Jiangxi recently formulated the Action Plan for Digital Transformation of New Energy Industry in Jiangxi Province (2023-2025) (hereinafter referred to as the Action Plan), which sounded the clarion call for promoting the digital transformation of new energy industry in an all-round and in-depth way.
According to the newly released Action Plan, Jiangxi will take the integration of the new generation of information technology and manufacturing industry as the main line, take the digital transformation as the lead, and take intelligent manufacturing as the main direction of attack, promote the integration and innovation of the new generation of information technology and new energy industry, such as 5G communication, artificial intelligence, industrial Internet, and so on. At the same time, through all-round and in-depth promotion of the digital transformation of the new energy industry, we will accelerate the development of high-end, intelligent and green industries in our province.
The Action Plan puts forward the basic principles of "market-led, policy-guided, demonstration-driven, step-by-step, innovation-driven, co-construction and sharing", giving full play to the decisive role of the market in the allocation of resources, and giving full play to the exemplary role of benchmarking enterprises and typical projects in digital transformation. We will improve the collaborative innovation system of industry, University and research, promote intelligent manufacturing and digital transformation step by step according to the construction foundation and development needs of all links in the whole industrial chain, lead the popularization and application of mature technologies in small and medium-sized enterprises, and build a new pattern of open collaborative innovation in the new energy industry.
The Action Plan defines the goal of the digital transformation of the new energy industry in our province in the next three years:
by 2025, the digitalization, networking and intellectualization of the new energy industry in Jiangxi will be more in-depth, the digital transformation of enterprises will be further promoted, and the intelligent manufacturing level of key enterprises in photovoltaic, lithium and other industries will reach the advanced level in China.
Improve the overall level of digitalization of new energy industry. Build 2-3 new energy industry industrial Internet platform, greatly increase the number of enterprises on the cloud, cultivate and identify a number of provincial demonstration enterprises of integration of two modernizations, build secondary nodes of Internet logo analysis in photovoltaic and lithium power industries, build 5-10 intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories and demonstration workshops, build 5-10 benchmarking demonstration enterprises of digital transformation, and strive to create 1-2 "lighthouse factories".
Upgrade the digital service level of the new energy industry. To cultivate and introduce a number of digital transformation solution service providers, support the construction of 1-2 provincial digital transformation promotion centers for the new energy industry, improve the digital transformation ecosystem of the new energy industry, and greatly enhance the supply capacity of industry system integration and customized development, as well as the digital management and service capacity of the industry within the cluster.
Enhance the synergy of the new energy industry chain. The new generation of information technologies such as 5G, advanced computing, artificial intelligence and industrial Internet have been widely used in the field of new energy, and the digitalization level of industrial chain, supply chain, value chain and science and technology chain has been significantly improved.

According to the Action Plan, in the next three years, our province will implement "three major promotion actions" for the new energy industry.
Enterprise digital transformation action. Promote the upgrading of intelligent manufacturing level of new energy industry production, enhance the mechanization and automation level of production, packaging, storage and transportation of basic materials related to solar cells, lithium-ion batteries, hydrogen energy and other new batteries, support enterprises to carry out digital, networked and intelligent transformation, and enhance the overall level of process intelligence. Accelerate the improvement of enterprise digital work system, encourage enterprises to use digital intelligent control technology, perceive and real-time control of the whole process and equipment parameters, use AI technology to achieve closed-loop control management, and further enhance the consistency of the process.
Industry chain digitalization level promotion action. Promote the digitalization of industrial clusters, promote the construction of industrial agglomeration zones with digital economic characteristics, support the development of industrial agglomeration zones with digital economic characteristics such as Shangrao Intelligent Photovoltaic and Yichun Intelligent New Energy, support enterprises in industrial agglomeration zones to upgrade and transform their internal and external networks, and promote mobile Internet of Things, 5G and Next Generation Wireless Intelligent Network (NGB-W). Supporting the construction of industrial Internet platform, identification and analysis of secondary nodes and other platforms in characteristic industrial agglomeration areas, relying on the platform to provide a series of digital transformation solutions for enterprises in the cluster. Promote the construction of digital public service platform, accelerate the cultivation of new energy industry digital system solution providers, encourage leading enterprises to play a leading role, encourage enterprises to provide personalized digital transformation solutions, and cultivate a number of new energy industry virtual clusters based on digital public service platform. We will promote the digital upgrading of the supply chain, promote data connectivity, resource sharing and business collaboration among upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain and supply chain, support enterprises in the industrial chain and supply chain to accelerate their climb to the middle and high end of the value chain, and build a new industrial chain supply chain system with high efficiency, coordination, security, stability, autonomy, controllability, flexibility and resilience. We will strive to create industrial innovation platforms such as national key laboratories, national technological innovation centers and digital transformation promotion centers, accelerate the construction of Jiangxi lithium power industry digital transformation promotion centers, encourage scientific research institutes and industrial innovation consortia to accelerate the upgrading of scientific research innovation and achievements transformation capabilities, and build new scenarios, new modes and new ways of digital collaborative application, so as to promote deep integration and innovation. In addition, information security should be strengthened to ensure the security and controllability of key information infrastructure and data in the digital economy era.
Industry: Speeding up New "Intelligent" Manufacturing
The Action Plan further proposes a specific "roadmap" for digital transformation in some key industries.
-Silicon wafer and battery slice. We will encourage the promotion of automated production lines and logistics lines for silicon wafers, fully automated integrated testing equipment, and silicon wafer coding and reading equipment, and establish a silicon wafer information traceability system. Support the promotion of automatic auxiliary equipment for silicon battery production, such as automatic texturing, automatic loading and unloading, to enhance the ability of automatic transmission and intelligent perception between processes.
Intelligent components and auxiliary materials. Support the development and application of high-efficiency component production technologies such as multi-main grid, non-destructive cutting and high-density packaging. Develop intelligent photovoltaic module products with functions of optimizing and eliminating shadow shading power loss, mismatch loss, eliminating hot spots, intelligent control shutdown, intelligent light tracking, real-time monitoring and operation, and support the development of high-quality packaging film, photovoltaic glass and backplane products. Encourage the development and application of auxiliary materials such as conductive adhesive, special-shaped welding strip and intelligent junction box for high-efficiency packaging.
-Photovoltaic power station. Support the promotion of intelligent management system and integrated operation and maintenance technology in photovoltaic power plants, and improve the level of information management in the whole cycle of photovoltaic power generation . Unmanned intelligent power station operation and maintenance system research is carried out in combination with 5G, AI, machine vision and UAV, and intelligent cleaning robot, intelligent inspection UAV, intelligent AI system platform and other products of photovoltaic power station system are developed. Mining, dressing and smelting of
lithium resources. Mining enterprises are encouraged to promote the application of driverless, remote equipment management and automatic transportation, mineral processing enterprises are encouraged to promote the application of integrated equipment for crushing, grinding, flotation, dehydration and tailings treatment, and enterprises are supported to build integrated intelligent production lines for mining, dressing and smelting, and to build a safety-automation, intelligence-digital lithium resources mining, dressing and smelting industry.
Lithium-ion battery manufacturing. Promote automatic production equipment such as high-speed coating, high-speed winding, cutting and stacking, support the application of automatic positioning, automatic OCV testing, automatic cutting, detection of polar ears, automatic gluing and other automatic production lines, encourage enterprises to promote automatic production lines, build intelligent engineering, unmanned factories, and encourage the promotion of AGV intelligent handling system (logistics). Establish process control from logistics to products and real-time and accurate monitoring of product quality.
