Here comes the latest silicon wafer price!

The Silicon Branch announced the latest silicon wafer price on February 16. This week, the silicon wafer price was stable, and the week-on-week ratio was flat. The main reason is that the recent delivery of specialized enterprises is relatively tight, and orders are executed at a unified price.

According to the Silicon Branch, the operating rate of the two first-line enterprises remained at 75% and 80% this week. On

the supply side, integrated enterprises and some specialized enterprises once again slightly increased the operating rate, while the rest continued to increase the operating rate as planned. On the

demand side , the price of batteries is slightly reduced, and the demand is still strong. The demand for

batteries in February is between 39-40 GW, which exceeds the supply of silicon wafers. Therefore, in the short term, the purchase of batteries is more active, and the operating rate of specialized enterprises is basically maintained at a high level. With the launch of domestic and overseas projects in the

first quarter, it is expected that the demand side will be supported, and the price of silicon wafers will continue to run steadily in the short term.

The Silicon Branch expects that the monthly demand for silicon wafers will return to normal levels. In February, as the price of the industrial chain stabilized and rebounded, the operating rate of enterprises gradually increased, and the output of silicon wafers in February is expected to be between 34-36 GW.

Although the price of silicon wafers is relatively stable, the purchase price of batteries has dropped significantly.

According to InfoLink news, since this week, the wait-and-see mood of component-side enterprises has become stronger, and the rising inventory level of batteries has also led to the gradual loosening of the price of this link, and the transaction price of batteries has fallen.

Looking ahead, the agency expects that after the upstream active negotiations, as the price of silicon materials is deadlocked and stabilized, the price of cells is expected to continue to fall next week.
