The enterprise has been put into production in Anting for more than 20 years. In recent years, the enterprise has vigorously promoted the digital and intelligent transformation of the factory, with a total investment of about 380 million yuan, and carried out technological upgrading and transformation in the existing factory buildings. The core of the
upgrading and renovation is to invest in new equipment and renovate equipment in Fuyao Shanghai No.1 Laminated Glass Factory and No.1 and No.2 Tempered Glass Factory, and to upgrade and renovate the existing plant intelligently by adding a new coated glass production line, a fixed panoramic skylight connection line and a large tempering furnace. The automatic connection rate and automatic inspection rate can reach more than 85%. Break the data island, realize the demand of data interconnection, and further promote the construction of intelligent factories. After completion, Fuyao will form upstream and downstream synergies through the supply chain, further expand market demand, improve the quality and output of coated glass, thereby improving efficiency.
According
to Xie Wanhua, head of Fuyao Shanghai Project Promotion, the upgrade and transformation is equivalent to "reshaping" a new factory by adding new equipment, transforming old equipment, adjusting factory space, shortening workshop logistics chain, and increasing safety interconnection and automation links. In addition to the introduction of new production lines, the addition of smart devices has also made production more efficient. "We currently have nearly 200 robotic arms, which can liberate workers from labor-intensive handling work, and 98 workers are no longer engaged in handling work, which will be incorporated into the work of the new production line in the future." Xie Wanhua said, "In the new production line we introduced, there is also an automatic optimization cutting system, which can avoid glass defects. For semi-finished products with more defective boards, the system will automatically optimize the cutting down and return to the furnace to improve the yield.". In terms of space adjustment in the factory area, a clear route has been laid out, laying the foundation for the subsequent unmanned deployment of robots. After the completion of the project in June this year, Fuyao Shanghai Factory will produce about 43.65 million pieces of laminated glass and tempered glass annually, and its production capacity will be greatly increased.
In 2021, Fuyao Group launched the construction of Shanghai 5G Intelligent Factory, promoted the upgrading of production technology and developed high-end product production lines.
