On February 14, the seventh general meeting of Shanxi Building Materials Industry Association was held in Taiyuan, and members from the building materials industry of the whole province attended the meeting. The meeting deliberated and adopted the "Work Report", "Financial Report", "Election Method (Draft)" and "Amendment of Articles of Association (Draft)" of the Sixth Council, and elected the members of the Seventh Council and the Board of Supervisors. The Board of Supervisors of the First Session of the Seventh Board of Directors elected Chang Weidong as the President, Wang Xiaoping as the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, and Zhi Junsheng as the Secretary-General. According to the report, the six years during the term of office of the Sixth Council are the six years for Shanxi building materials industry to further promote supply-side structural reform, accelerate structural adjustment and transformation and upgrading, and lay the foundation for high-quality development of the industry; and the six years for the industry to strive to achieve green, intelligent, and comprehensive competitiveness of the industry to a new level. Over the past six years, the building materials industry in Shanxi has achieved initial success in reducing production capacity and controlling output, and the industry has maintained a sustained and stable operation; it has actively promoted the transformation of ultra-low emissions, and the level of green development of the industry has been greatly improved; it has made breakthroughs in mergers and reorganizations, and the industrial organization structure has been further optimized; it has vigorously promoted scientific and technological innovation, and the comprehensive competitiveness of the industry has been enhanced; and the human resources of the industry have been developed with high quality. Over the

past few years, the Sixth Council has given full play to its role as a bridge and link, acted as a good adviser to the government, promoted the healthy development of the industry, actively organized industry-related activities, enhanced the cohesion of the industry, fostered superior enterprises, set up industry pacesetters, and created a good atmosphere for harmonious development; Strengthen the self-construction of the association, continuously enhance the service capacity of the association, and promote the healthy development of Shanxi building materials industry.

The meeting elected 31 member units of the Seventh Council and 3 member units of the Seventh Board of Supervisors.

At the same time, the Seventh Council of Shanxi Building Materials Industry Association was held. The Council elected Chang Weidong, the former chairman of Taiyuan Shitou Cement Co., Ltd., as the chairman of the Seventh Council of Shanxi Building Material Industry Association, and Xu Li, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Yangquan Jidong Cement Co., Ltd. Wang Xiaoping, President of Building Materials Business Department of Shanxi Dongyi Coal, Electricity and Aluminum Group (Shanxi Dongyi Group Special Cement Co., Ltd.), is the supervisor.
