solar energy, "Technical Specification for Meteorological Observation and Data Review and Revision of Photovoltaic Power Stations" and " Specification for Assessment of Solar Energy Resources for Photovoltaic Power Generation ", have been approved by the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration (National Standardization Management Committee) and have been officially released recently.
The Technical Specification for Meteorological Observation and Data Review and Revision of Photovoltaic Power Stations was issued on March 17, 2023 and will be implemented on July 1. The standard is led by the Public Meteorological Service Center of China Meteorological Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "Public Service Center") and drafted by relevant new energy power generation enterprises, electric power design institutes, universities and other units. It stipulates the requirements of meteorological observation and observation data review, data interpolation and solar radiation element data revision of photovoltaic power stations, and describes the corresponding verification methods; It is applicable to the meteorological observation related to the measurement, investigation, assessment, development and utilization of solar energy resources of photovoltaic power plants, as well as the collection, recording, review, interpolation and revision of representative years of observation data.
The Specification for Assessment of Solar Energy Resources for Photovoltaic Power Generation was issued and implemented on May 23, 2023. The standard is drafted by the public service center, with the participation of relevant new energy power generation enterprises, electric power design institutes, universities and other units. It stipulates the contents of solar energy resource assessment for photovoltaic power generation, the assessment requirements for horizontal solar energy resources, solar energy resources on the surface of photovoltaic arrays, high-impact meteorological factors for photovoltaic power generation, and the requirements for the preparation of assessment reports, as well as the corresponding verification methods; It is suitable for the calculation, analysis and evaluation of solar energy resources in the planning, design and post-evaluation stages of various photovoltaic power generation projects. The
two national standards will provide standardized technical methods and processes for meteorological, energy, power and other related units to carry out solar energy resource observation, data quality control and resource assessment of photovoltaic power generation, and support the rational planning, scientific design, standardized construction and operation of photovoltaic power generation.
