Hubei Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Conducts Inspection on the Renovation of Unqualified Ready-Mixed Concrete Enterprises in Xiaonan

In order to implement the spirit of the Notice on the Renovation of Unqualified Ready-mixed Concrete Enterprises issued by the Department of Housing and Construction of Hubei Province (No.1026 of the Department of Housing and Construction of Hubei Province [2023]), on June 7, the Department of Housing and Construction of Hubei Province organized a special class to inspect the renovation of unqualified ready-mixed concrete enterprises in Xiaonan District. The

inspection team listened carefully to the work report of Xiaonan District on the renovation of unqualified ready-mixed concrete enterprises, inspected the demolition and reclamation of two unqualified ready-mixed concrete enterprises, Xiaogan Jichang Building Materials Co., Ltd. in Sancha Town and Xiaogan Anai New Building Materials Co., Ltd., and consulted the relevant renovation accounts. He affirmed the renovation plan, measures and achievements made by Xiaonan District in renovating unqualified ready-mixed concrete enterprises. During this period, two qualified ready-mixed concrete production enterprises were also sampled. He inspected the green production site of the enterprise and the concrete mixing building, sample room, curing room, raw material yard, etc., consulted the relevant accounts of concrete, communicated with the person in charge of the enterprise, and put forward guiding opinions. Some suggestions are put forward to solve the problems of unclear sample identification, inadequate maintenance of test blocks, uniqueness of concrete raw materials and insufficient traceability.

The inspection team stressed that this rectification action is an important measure to further standardize the production and operation of ready-mixed concrete enterprises in the whole province, ensure the quality and safety of the project, and promote the healthy, orderly and high-quality development of the ready-mixed concrete industry. All localities should attach great importance to it, put the spirit of notification into practice, and take effective measures to conduct a pull-net survey without leaving any dead ends. Clean and thoroughly eliminate the enterprises that produce ready-mixed concrete without qualification, and purify the environment of concrete industry.

The inspection team pointed out that the management departments should strengthen the supervision of qualified concrete enterprises, increase the frequency of inspection, and ensure product quality; In strict accordance with the relevant standards and specifications for the production of ready-mixed concrete, enterprises should strengthen the management of safety production, quality control, green production and other aspects, and actively establish standardized mixing stations and benchmarking demonstration enterprises for ready-mixed concrete, so as to provide safe and high-quality concrete products for construction projects.

Next, Xiaonan Housing and Construction Bureau will organize a special class to conduct a thorough investigation of the unqualified ready-mixed concrete enterprises in the whole region on the basis of the original work, and resolutely crack down on the illegal production of concrete enterprises with a "zero tolerance" attitude, so that they have no place to live. At the same time, we should strengthen the supervision of ready-mixed concrete enterprises, urge enterprises to rectify the problems in place, and promote the continuous high-quality development of the industry.
