Indian solar manufacturer Waaree has ordered a 10 GW automated production line for high-efficiency modules from Jinchen. The subscription agreement was signed during the 2023 Shanghai Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy Exhibition.
Jinchen has been a supplier to Waaree since 2017 and has previously delivered 10 GW of production lines to Waaree. The latest order is Jinchen's largest overseas transaction.
It is the largest solar module manufacturer in India, with an annual production capacity of 12 GW, and its products are exported to more than 20 countries around the world. This cooperation with Jinchen is a step closer to its goal of 20 GW production capacity. The
Central Electricity Authority (CEA) predicts that the installed capacity of photovoltaic systems in India will reach 292.6 GW by fiscal year 2029-2030. With the support and encouragement of the government's new energy policy, India's photovoltaic industry has broad prospects and promising future.
