According to the People's Court of Funan County, Fuyang, Anhui Province, on June 6, the People's Court of Funan County opened a public hearing on the case of tax evasion by defendant Li Mou and Geng Mou, with nearly 50 staff members of Fuyang Tax Bureau attending the hearing.

The public prosecution alleged that from 2013 to 2015, when the defendant Li Mou served as the chief financial officer of Fuyang Dazheng Concrete Co., Ltd. and the defendant Geng Mou served as the accountant of Fuyang Dazheng Concrete Co., Ltd., in order to help the legal representative of the company evade paying taxes, he made false declarations by not listing or underlisting income. The amount of tax evasion was 10587363.15 yuan, accounting for 87.55% of the total tax payable in 2013, 61.94% in 2014 and 47.48% in 2015. As of February 20, 2023, Fuyang Dazheng Concrete Co., Ltd. has paid a total of 8188192.33 yuan of taxes involved in the case. During the

trial, the court fully guaranteed the litigation rights of the defendant and his defender, and listened to the opinions of both the prosecution and the defense. Defendant Li Mou and Geng Mou have no objection to the facts and evidence of the alleged crime, and voluntarily plead guilty in court, and the case will be sentenced at a later date.
