Supervision and spot check: 2 batches of laminated glass are not qualified

Shandong Provincial Market Supervision Bureau recently released the results of provincial supervision and spot check on the quality of laminated glass products in 2022. The results showed that two batches of products from two producers of Shandong Mingdong Glass Products Co., Ltd. and Junan Xingyou Toughened Glass Co., Ltd. did not meet the requirements of relevant standards, and the unqualified items were heat resistance and falling ball impact peeling performance. A total of 22 batches of laminated glass products in the production field were sampled in the fourth batch of provincial supervision spot checks

in 2022, according to the requirements of GB 15763. The thickness deviation, heat resistance, moisture resistance, radiation resistance, falling ball impact peeling property and shotgun bag impact property of laminated glass products were tested.

For the producers of unqualified products found in this spot check, the Shandong Provincial Market Supervision and Administration has instructed the relevant market supervision and administration departments to supervise the spot check in accordance with the Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China, the Interim Measures for the Administration of Product Quality Supervision and Spot Check, the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration and the Shandong Provincial Market Supervision and Administration. Do a good job in dealing with unqualified results.

Laminated glass belongs to safety glass. 2. Check the appearance of the product. The product shall be free of cracks and degumming; the length or width of the burst edge shall not exceed the thickness of the glass; the scratch and abrasion shall not affect the use; the bubbles, impurities or other observable defects in the middle layer shall not exceed the requirements of GB 15763. 3-2009.

3.Neutral glue shall be used during installation, and contact with acid glue is strictly prohibited.

4. In the process of use, external impact should be avoided as far as possible, especially for tempered laminated glass. When cleaning the glass, pay attention not to scratch or abrade the glass surface, so as not to affect its optical performance, safety performance and beauty.
