Pret: Invest in the construction of an energy storage battery project with an annual output of 6GWh

June 5, Plitt issued an announcement to invest in the construction of an energy storage battery project with an annual output of 6G Wh.

The company plans to set up a project company with independent legal personality and independent accounting in Zhuhai, relying on the perfect energy storage industry application system and complete talent strength in Zhuhai, and build a new 6GWh energy storage battery and its system production base project in Fushan Industrial Park .

This project will focus on providing large batteries and system products for Haisida's customers in the fields of new power system, intelligent photovoltaic , industry and commerce . The

total investment of the company is about RMB 1 billion . The land, plant and infrastructure construction of this project will be coordinated by the local government and state-owned assets. The company will implement the project through long-term plant leasing, so as to have an annual production capacity of 6Gwh energy storage batteries and their systems as soon as possible.

At the same time, the company is optimistic about the future development trend of optical storage integration industry, and the company has established the optical storage business department. The completion of the Zhuhai plant will give priority to meeting the company's next stage of key layout of new power systems, intelligent photovoltaic, industrial and commercial energy storage and other large square batteries and system products, and provide capacity support for the rapid development of the company's optical storage business.

Up to now, the company's new energy industry base planning layout has been completed , Jiangsu Qidong factory, Hunan Liuyang factory, Guangdong Zhuhai factory will be an important support for the future large-scale development of Haisida energy storage industry. At present,

the company has the production capacity of 3Gwh ternary cylindrical battery and 1Gwh square iron-lithium battery ; the production capacity of 7.3Gwh square battery is under construction; the production capacity of 18Gwh battery is to be built (Liuyang Phase I and Zhuhai factories); 18 Gwh battery capacity is planned (Liuyang Phase II and Phase III). Sufficient production capacity will provide important platform support for the company's rapid growth in the next stage.

Pret said that the new energy storage business is the core strategic development direction of the company in the future, and having large-scale battery capacity is the core competitiveness of strategic development. With the rapid introduction and pilot application of sodium-ion batteries, the establishment of the optical storage business department and the in-depth cooperation of core customers, the company will rapidly grow into an excellent company in the energy storage industry.

This investment is in line with the strategic development plan of the Company and will further enhance the influence and comprehensive competitiveness of the energy storage business. As the construction and implementation of this investment project requires a certain period of time, it is not expected to have a significant impact on the operating results of the Company this year, but will have a positive effect on the business layout and operating results next year.
