On May 31, the concrete pouring volume of the powerhouse of Maerdang Hydropower Station reached 84,600 cubic meters in May, setting the highest monthly record since the concrete pouring of the powerhouse project.

March, the construction of the main project of Maerdang Hydropower Station has been in full swing, and the construction site is a hot scene, with roaring machines, busy figures and concrete tankers shuttling back and forth. In order to ensure the high-speed progress of the project construction and achieve the goal of impoundment on schedule, the company carefully studied the difficult construction situation it was facing, convened a special meeting to deploy construction tasks, and organized all parties involved in the construction to start with optimizing the construction scheme, strengthening the allocation of resources and improving the construction layout, so as to effectively enhance the intensity and efficiency of concrete production, transportation and pouring. The monthly pouring volume was overfulfilled.

In the next step, Maerdang Company will continue to scientifically formulate the construction plan, decompose the construction plan into monthly, weekly, daily and shift, comprehensively refine and materialize the construction measures, and guarantee the day, week and month by shift, so as to lay a solid foundation for the impoundment of the sluice gate at the end of October 2023 and the power generation of the first unit at the end of March 2024.
