In order to strengthen the supervision of the sea area, protect the marine ecological resources and curb the illegal mining of sea sand. Recently, the Marine Fisheries Bureau of Muping District of Yantai City launched a special law enforcement action to crack down on illegal sea sand mining, and set up two law enforcement teams to conduct night raids on the coastline of the district, to squat and wait in key areas such as Litiao Island and Sandy Coastal Reserve, and to implement "zero tolerance" for illegal sea sand mining.
At the same time, through the establishment of special classes for sea-related work, the cultivation of grass-roots patrol forces, and the imposition of the maximum penalty for illegal acts, the high-pressure situation of cracking down on illegal sea sand mining has been maintained.
In the next step, Muping District Marine and Fisheries Bureau will continue to carry out the "Special Action to Combat Illegal Sea Sand Mining in the Early Morning" in conjunction with coastal towns, public security and other units, strengthen the inspection of the sea areas under its jurisdiction, set up road barriers in key areas, configure all-weather video surveillance, strictly crack down on illegal sea sand mining, and resolutely curb illegal sea sand mining.
