On February 9, Shao Jun, founder and chairman of China Cement Network, and his delegation visited Queshi Group and were warmly received by Wei Huashan, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Queshi Group. The two sides exchanged views on the current situation of the cement industry and the recent development of Queshi Group.

Wei Huashan introduced the business strategy and the latest development of Queshi Group. After years of reform and development, Queshi Group has been reborn from a small cement plant on the verge of bankruptcy with an annual production capacity of less than 300,000 tons. There are 40 parent and subsidiary companies under the Group. It is distributed in four industrial parks, including Huangshi Yangxin Green Building Material Industrial Park, Yangluo Green Energy New Material Intelligent Logistics Industrial Park, Wuhan Guanggu Wulian Port Industrial Park and Sichuan Panzhihua Vanadium and Titanium Industrial Park. Its main business involves the manufacture of green building materials and vanadium-titanium new wear-resistant materials, the investment, development and operation of science and technology industrial parks and new energy industries, port logistics trade, research and development and application of intelligent systems, education and medical treatment, etc.

Faced with the current complex industry situation, the two sides said in the exchange that cement enterprises should not only focus on the growth of cement sales share, but also have a more rational view of the current situation, promote industry self-discipline, and jointly maintain a good competitive and cooperative relationship in the industry.

Shao Jun thanked Queshi Group for its warm reception and introduced the achievements of China Cement Network in recent years in the fields of industrial big data platform, digital factory and digital supply chain. Both sides expressed the need to strengthen exchanges and discussions, further tap opportunities for cooperation, give full play to their respective advantages, and work together for the high-quality development of the cement industry.
