In order to continuously promote the special renovation of sand and gravel resources in Lintao County, Gansu Province, and achieve good results, on June 2, the Lintao County Natural Resources Bureau jointly launched a special renovation of sand and gravel resources with relevant units directly under the county level and the Taishi Town Government, and demolished the sand screening and washing equipment of the former Anjiayao Sand Factory located in Shangzui Village, Taishi Town, according to law. The sand and gravel resources collected illegally were confiscated according to law.
This year, Lintao County decided to use one year to carry out special renovation of sand and gravel resources with a "zero tolerance" attitude, promote normal and long-term management and control in the field of natural resources, and realize the healthy and orderly development and utilization of sand and gravel resources. Up to now, all 9 cases of illegal sand mining reported by the masses have been placed on file for investigation, 2 mining enterprises with irregular production have been urged to complete rectification, 2 commercial concrete enterprises without any formalities have been demolished, 53 enterprises and individuals with disorderly piling and sand washing have been issued the Notice of Rectification, and 26 have been restored.
Next, Lintao County will continue to intensify special rectification efforts, adhere to the "zero tolerance" attitude, carry out a solid pull-net investigation, uninterrupted unannounced visits and regular inspections, severely crack down on all kinds of illegal activities such as illegal mining of sand and gravel resources, establish a long-term mechanism for sand and gravel resources management, and create a new situation for sand and gravel resources management.
