27, Shanshan announced that it planned to invest in the construction of an integrated base for lithium-ion battery anode materials with an annual output of 100000 tons in Finland. The total investment amount of the project is not more than 1.28 billion euros (about 9.88 billion yuan) (subject to the actual investment amount). This project is divided into two phases of construction. The capacity of the two phases of the project is planned to be 50,000 tons per year, and the construction period is expected to be 24 months. & nbsp;
Shanshan said that as overseas countries, especially European countries, actively promote the development of green industry, overseas new energy vehicles and energy storage industries have maintained a rapid development trend, which has led to the continuous growth of overseas lithium battery market demand, and promoted global lithium battery companies to actively lay out lithium battery production capacity in overseas markets such as Europe.
In order to further promote the company's development strategy, expand its business scale in overseas markets and meet the needs of downstream customers, the company agreed to set up a project company in Finland and invest in the construction of an integrated base for lithium-ion battery anode materials with an annual output of 100000 tons. The total investment amount of the project plan shall not exceed 1.28 billion euros (subject to the actual investment amount).
Shanshan shares said that after the completion of the project, it will help the company to improve the layout of overseas production capacity, effectively meet the needs of downstream customers and overseas market expansion, help the company to expand the international market, continuously enhance the global market share, and further consolidate the company's leading position in the industry. This project is an integrated production line of anode materials. The process route has been verified by the existing production base and optimized after combining with the feedback from high-quality customers at home and abroad. After the completion of the project, it will be beneficial for the company to strengthen the global integration of production capacity and scale. Nordic power is mainly based on hydropower, biomass fuel and other green electricity with low electricity price, and can be shipped to four major battery customers in Western Europe and Central Europe by water. The location of this project in Finland is conducive to the company relying on local low-cost clean energy and strategic geographical advantages, actively expanding customers in the European market and responding to their needs.
