In order to crack down on illegal sand mining activities accurately, the district uses "unmanned aerial vehicles" to continuously strengthen river patrol and evidence collection 24 hours a day, comprehensively supervise the current situation of Dongyuan, Xiyuan and tributaries of the Xiangjiang River, and conduct video surveillance of illegal sand mining sites along the river, focusing on the phenomenon of sporadic sand theft and "ant moving" sand theft. Continue to rely on the establishment of 16 duty points in towns and streets across the river to carry out inspection and control work along the river, with the 12345 hotline as a clue, the relevant departments continue to strengthen information exchange and joint law enforcement, increase the efficiency of law enforcement, so that illegal sand mining can not escape. The District River Chief Office, together with the procuratorate, the public security sub-bureau, the water law enforcement brigade and other member units, has realized all-round and zero-dead-angle day and night duty on the 85.5 km river beach in the Xiyuan and Dongyuan sections of the Xiangjiang River. During the period of the Spring Festival, Lingling District dispatched 15 law enforcement vehicles and 60 law enforcement officers to patrol more than 600 kilometers of rivers, resolutely preventing the rebound of illegal sand mining, and achieving the goal of "three noes" in sand and gravel management within its jurisdiction: no online reports such as "12345", no calls from visitors, and no illegal sand mining.
