Yidao Xinneng Cooperates with Huaneng in the World's First 2000 V Photovoltaic Grid-connected Power Generation

The largest N-type photovoltaic production project in Shaanxi Province

Recently, Huaneng Group, together with Xinneng, put the world's first 2000 volt photovoltaic system into operation in the 150000 kilowatt photovoltaic project in Mengjiawan, Shaanxi Province. This project is the largest N-type photovoltaic production project of Huaneng Group and Shaanxi Province at present, and also the largest N-type power station grid-connected project of Xinneng in China at present, bringing clean green power to the Loess Plateau with sand dunes.

Mengjiawan Project is located in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, with abundant sunshine resources, and is invested and constructed by Huaneng Shaanxi Company. The installed capacity of the DC side of the project is 182MW, including 34 sub-arrays. At the same time, the project also uses the first 2000 V photovoltaic module in the industry jointly created by Huaneng Shaanxi Company and Yidao Xinneng R & D team, which opens a frontier exploration in the innovation of photovoltaic module technology. The photovoltaic system design of 2000 V can increase the installed capacity of single module string by more than 30%, greatly save the consumption of DC cables, junction boxes and other equipment, reduce the BOS cost of the system, promote the reduction of LCOE cost of the power station and the improvement of the system yield, accelerate the development and application of the photovoltaic system, and help to achieve the goal of "carbon peak, carbon neutralization" as soon as possible. The DC side of

the project covers an area of 170 mu per 10000 kilowatts, which is the smallest area per 10000 kilowatts for centralized photovoltaic projects in the northern region. After the Mengjiawan project is officially connected to the grid, the average annual power generation of the photovoltaic power station is about 298.87 million kWh during the 25-year operation period. The annual equivalent full-load operation hours are about 1640 hours , which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 278000 tons and save standard coal by about 94100 tons . It provides green low-carbon kinetic energy for local ecological environment management, energy structure transformation and sustainable economic development.
