Mechanical accident occurred in the cement clinker workshop! One dead!

On September 21, the Haidong Municipal People's Government of Qinghai Province issued the first batch of typical cases of production safety accidents. One of them is a mechanical accident in the clinker workshop of JT kiln in cement plant. Since

this year, the whole city has earnestly implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions and instructions on safety in production, comprehensively implemented the work arrangements of the state, provinces and municipalities for safety in production, adhered to the supremacy of the people and life, coordinated development and safety, and further promoted the 2023 action to rectify the hidden dangers of major accidents in safety in production. The number of production safety accidents, deaths and injuries in the city was "one level, one rise and one fall" compared with the same period last year, and no major or more accidents occurred, and the work of production safety achieved phased results. However, various production safety accidents still occur in the fields of road transportation, construction, industry and trade, causing great losses to the safety of people's lives and property.

At present, the Office of the Municipal Security Committee has carefully sorted out all kinds of production safety accidents, reported six typical production safety accidents, promoted all counties, districts, departments and enterprises to thoroughly analyze the causes of accidents, draw lessons from relevant accidents, compact safety responsibilities, enhance the awareness of emergency response, safety and responsibility of the whole society, and firmly adhere to the bottom line of safe production.

One of the cases is

the "3 · 11" general mechanical injury accident

of Ledu Huaxia Cement Plant. At 15:30 on March 11, 2023, a mechanical injury accident occurred in the JT kiln clinker workshop of Huaxia Cement Co., Ltd., resulting in one death. Cause of

the accident: Lack of safety management on the site, the operator did not operate correctly according to the operating procedures, and was involved in the hoist and crushed to death. Lessons learned from

the accident: lack of on-site safety management and repeated illegal operations.

Accountability: An administrative penalty of 400,000 yuan was imposed on the enterprise, and a total of 90,000 yuan was imposed on five managers; admonishment talks and inner-Party warnings were given to the leaders in charge of the industry supervision department and the cadres of the contracting enterprises.
