The two national standards of Insulating Glass and Functional Film for Architectural Glass have passed the expert review smoothly.

On May 18 and 19, the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Building Glass organized a review meeting of two national standards, Hollow Glass and Functional Film for Building Glass, in Changxing County, Zhejiang Province. The meeting was jointly organized by the State Inspection Group Qinhuangdao Company and Zhuzhou Qibin Group Co., Ltd. More than 70 representatives from standard authorities, production enterprises, users, research institutes, quality inspection, industry associations and other units attended the meeting. Liu Chengxiong, member and Secretary-General of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Architectural Glass, presided over the meeting. Zhang Dongzhuang, member of the Party Committee of China Building Materials Federation, full-time vice president and chairman of the Bidding Committee, attended the meeting and made a speech.

The two standards were drafted and completed by Qinhuangdao Company of the State Inspection Group and invited relevant enterprises in the industry. At the meeting, Ji Shuwei and Zhang Hongyuan, the main drafters of the standards, respectively introduced and explained the compilation process, main technical requirements, verification tests and consultation of the standards of Insulating Glass and Functional Film for Architectural Glass. The review experts carefully reviewed and discussed the standard text, and agreed that the two standard indicators were formulated reasonably and the test methods were operable. The standard of Insulating Glass has reached the international advanced level, and the standard of Functional Membrane for Architectural Glass has reached the domestic advanced level. "Insulating Glass" and "Functional Film for Architectural Glass" standards makes the standard content more suitable for the current level of product development in China, promotes technological progress and product quality improvement, helps to integrate with international standards, improves the competitiveness of the international market, and contributes to standardizing and leading the healthy development of the industry with high quality!
