Recently, the Management Committee of Bengbu High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Anhui Province issued the second announcement of environmental impact assessment of Huangtuanyao Comprehensive Wharf Project in Bengbu Port.
It is understood that the construction site of the project is located in Huangtuanyao, Bengbu High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Bengbu City, on the right bank of Huaihe River, supporting the construction of warehouses, ancillary buildings, roads, belt conveyor approach bridges, electrical, water supply and drainage, slope protection projects, etc.
The project covers a total area of about 334 mu. Four 2000-ton comprehensive berths are newly built, with a total shoreline of 350m. The designed throughput of the wharf is 4.2 million tons per year, including 1.5 million tons per year of bulk cargo imports, including 600,000 tons of yellow sand, 500,000 tons of coal, 200,000 tons of gypsum and 200,000 tons of quartz sand; Bulk cargo export is 1.2 million tons/year, including 700,000 tons of cement clinker and 500,000 tons of aggregate; breakbulk import is 1 million tons/year; breakbulk export is 500,000 tons/year. Supporting construction of warehouses, ancillary buildings, roads, belt conveyor approach bridges, electrical, water supply and drainage, slope protection works, etc.
