On May 28, the commencement ceremony of Zhengqi Holdings 20GW High-efficiency N-type Battery Intelligent Manufacturing Industrialization Project was held in Jingkai District, Maanshan City, Anhui Province.
It is understood that the project is located in the Economic Development Zone of Ma'anshan City and is planned to be constructed in three phases.
Among them, 2.5 billion yuan will be invested in the first phase to build a high-efficiency N-type photovoltaic cell with an annual production capacity of 5G W, adopting the industry-leading N-type TOPCon high-efficiency cell manufacturing technology, as well as fully automated cell production equipment and production lines, adhering to low-carbon green manufacturing, and building a digital and intelligent high-efficiency photovoltaic cell R & D and manufacturing base.
Zhengqi Holdings said that the first phase of the project will strive to be completed and put into operation within this year. According to the forecast, the annual output value of the first phase will be 5 billion yuan, which will add 7 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity, save 870000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 7 million tons, creating good social and economic value. According to
the official website, Zhengqi was established in Hefei in October 2012 with a registered capital of 3.323 billion yuan. It is controlled by Lenovo Holdings Co., Ltd. and is an innovative investment holding group with the business model of "finance + investment + industry".
By the end of 2022, Zhengqi Holdings has accumulated more than 6000 customers in the service industry and more than 70 equity investment enterprises, of which 12 are successfully listed on the IPO market, and 13 are or are planning to declare the IPO within one year.
The 20GW high-efficiency N-type battery intelligent manufacturing industrialization project not only opens up the company's layout of photovoltaic industry , but also is a key step for Zhengqi shares from industrial investment to industrial holding.
