According to the China Cement Network Market Data Center, the price of clinker along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province rose by 20 yuan/ton on September 18. From 18-19, some major manufacturers in Hefei, Chaohu, Chuzhou, Chizhou, Xuancheng and other places began to try to raise the price of cement by 20 yuan/ton.
A cement enterprise in Anhui said that this round of price increase was driven by the increase of cement prices in many surrounding markets. Cement enterprises along the Yangtze River are generally pushing up prices by about 20 yuan/ton, which is basically fully implemented. At present, the willingness of enterprises to raise prices is still relatively strong, and prices may rise further in the near future.
Another company said it was not known how long the price increase would last. Individual enterprises have not raised prices, and if these enterprises do not follow up in time, prices may soon fall back.
