With a total investment of 4 billion yuan and an annual output of 5 million tons of sand and gravel aggregate, a building material industrial park in Chongqing has started construction.

On September 20, Chongqing Wansheng Economic and Technological Development Zone held a 100-day campaign of "Grasping Projects to Promote Investment" in 2023 and a centralized commencement of major projects in the third quarter in Wansheng Green Building Materials Circular Economy Industrial Park, which marked the formal start of construction of Wansheng Green Building Materials Circular Economy Industrial Park, which was contracted and invested by Shaanxi Building Materials Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd.

It is understood that the project of Wansheng Green Building Materials Circular Economy Industrial Park, with a total investment of 4 billion yuan, is planned to be constructed in three phases, of which the first phase is mainly to build a production line with an annual output of 5 million tons of sand and gravel aggregates; the second phase is mainly to build a production line with a daily output of 5000 tons of cement clinker; and the third phase is to improve the downstream assembled buildings. It will bring good benefits to the comprehensive utilization of coal gangue and the ecological restoration of mines in Wansheng Jingkai District of Chongqing.

Reporters learned from the District Development and Reform Bureau that since this year, 30 key projects have been started in the whole region, with a total investment of 8 billion yuan, covering many fields such as industry, urban renewal, parks and transportation and water infrastructure.
