Experts predict that the power system will take the lead in achieving carbon peak and moving towards carbon neutrality, and building a new power system is the decisive measure to achieve "double carbon". Gao Jifan said that in the future, carbon neutralization will be supported mainly by new power systems with new energy as the main body, and photovoltaic will become the main force of future energy reform.
The next ten years will be the golden track for the sustainable development of photovoltaic industry. By 2035, the new installed capacity of photovoltaic in the world will reach 1344 GW, which is about five times the global installed capacity in 2022. Gao Jifan believes that promoting scientific and technological innovation in enterprises is the key.

The efficiency of battery and module laboratories of Chinese enterprises and research institutions has broken the world record more than 100 times. Among them, Trina Solar has set and refreshed the world record 25 times in terms of photovoltaic cell conversion efficiency and module output power. Trina Solar has always taken innovation as the first development strategy and core driving force, leading Chinese photovoltaic enterprises to participate in the formulation of international standards, and the number of effective invention patents continues to be in the leading position in China's photovoltaic industry, and won the first industrial award and the first national technology invention award in China's photovoltaic industry.
