In order to further promote the development of cement industry in Sichuan and Chongqing, we should strengthen the linkage of peak staggering production in Sichuan and Chongqing. On September 13, the "Symposium on the Development of Cement Industry in Sichuan and Chongqing" was held in Chengdu, sponsored by the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Sichuan Province, the Department of Ecological Environment of Sichuan Province, the Economic and Information Commission of Chongqing Municipality and the Bureau of Ecological Environment of Chongqing Municipality, and organized by the Cement Association of Sichuan Province and the Cement Association of Chongqing Municipality. The meeting was chaired by Qing Jiasheng, Deputy Director of Material Industry Department of Sichuan Economic and Information Department.
The meeting thoroughly implemented the spirit of the Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment on Further Improving the Normalized Peak-Staggered Production of Cement (No.201 [2020] of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology). On the basis of introducing the implementation of peak-staggered production between Sichuan and Chongqing, the meeting thoroughly analyzed the existing problems and causes, and jointly discussed the improvement measures. At the same time, taking Sichuan Province and Chongqing Municipality as an opportunity to deepen the cooperation between Sichuan and Chongqing to promote the work programme of ecological co-construction and environmental co-protection in the economic circle of Chengdu and Chongqing, this paper discusses in depth the need to revise the policy of peak staggering in Sichuan and Chongqing with a reasonable basis, scheduled production and innovative mechanism. It mainly discussed and revised the adjustment of peak staggering time to 150 + X days on the original basis, and increased exploration to schedule production and strengthen supervision and inspection.
