19, the project of Trina Solar Yangzhou New Energy Industrial Park was formally signed in Yangzhou.
Trina Solar Yangzhou New Energy Industrial Park is located in Puxi Town, Yangzhou Economic Development Zone, with a planned total construction area of about 320,000 square meters. The first phase of the project is planned to invest in a new project with an annual output of 10g W high-efficiency photovoltaic cells and 10g W high-power modules. Since
2022, Trina Solar has accelerated the integrated layout of the industrial chain and continued to expand production projects.
Only a month ago, on April 19, Trina Solar Jiangsu Huai'an Base Phase I Project was put into operation and Phase II Project was started. The day before the event, it also signed a 10GW high-efficiency photovoltaic cell production project with a total investment of 5 billion yuan with Huai'an Economic and Technological Development Zone. On June 17
last year, Trina Solar announced that it planned to invest in the construction of Trina Solar (Xining) New Energy Industrial Park project in Xining Economic and Technological Development Zone. The construction project includes the production line with an annual output of 300,000 tons of industrial silicon, 150,000 tons of high-purity polycrystalline silicon, 35 GW of monocrystalline silicon, 10 GW of chips, 10 GW of batteries, 10 GW of modules and 15 GW of auxiliary materials.
The first phase will be completed in 2023, and the overall project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
According to the plan, by the end of 2023, Trina Solar will have a production capacity of 100,000 tons of industrial silicon, 50,000 tons of polysilicon, 20GW silicon wafers, 55GW batteries and 70GW modules.
According to Trina Solar's annual report data, in 2022, Trina Solar's annual shipments of photovoltaic modules reached 43.09 GW. According to InfoLink data, Trina Solar's annual component shipments in 2022 ranked third in the world. In addition, Trina Solar's annual report shows that Trina Solar's 210 module shipments exceed 65 GW, ranking first in the world. In
2023, Trina Solar's module shipment target is 65GW.
By the end of March 2023, Trina Solar had shipped more than 140 GW.
