On May 12, Yan Xiaofeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of China Building Materials Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Federation), and Chen Guoqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President, met with Gao Dengbang, Special Vice President of the Federation and President of China Cement Association, and Kong Xiangzhong, Member of the Party Committee of the Federation and Executive President of China Cement Association.
Gao Dengbang introduced the current situation faced by the cement industry and put forward the working ideas of the cement association in the next step. He believes that the current cement market uncertainty is more obvious, there are many difficulties in the economic operation of the industry, and thus deeply realized that the cement industry must adhere to the green, low-carbon, safe and high-quality development of the building materials industry propos ed by the Federation, and strive to guide the industry to take "double carbon" as the main line of work.
Yan Xiaofeng said that the Federation pays great attention to the operation situation of the cement industry and is cooperating with the competent government departments to actively carry out policy research that is conducive to the development of enterprises, high-quality development and sustainable and long-term development of enterprises. He pointed out that the current difficulties in the cement industry are the result of the long-term accumulation of structural contradictions in the industry and changes in the external environment, both in supply and demand. The cement industry should think deeply, handle problems and contradictions in a scientific, rational and forward-looking manner, firmly grasp and make good use of development opportunities in difficulties and challenges, take the "double carbon" work as the starting point, comprehensively use energy consumption, environmental protection, quality, safety, technology, policy, market and other means to solve the key problem of capacity reduction, and realize the technological progress and structural adjustment of the industry.
