Town offices and relevant departments should earnestly improve their political standing, stick to the bottom line, further enhance their sense of mission, responsibility and urgency, concentrate on carrying out special actions to combat illegal sand mining, severely crack down on illegal river sand mining, and comprehensively squeeze the space for social crime.
Shang Geng requests that all units should closely cooperate with each other in carrying out joint law enforcement, solidly carry out warning education of laws and regulations, block down river roads in sensitive areas, increase the frequency of normal patrols and surprise patrols, assign specia l personnel to watch video surveillance of rivers and lakes, adhere to the simultaneous development of civil air defense, material defense and technical defense, and discover the illegal mining of river sand together. To ensure the maintenance of a good ecological environment with smooth rivers, clear water and green banks.
Shang Geng stressed that we should give full play to the role of river patrol system and implement the "four responsible persons for sand mining" to supervise the whole river course. In order to dock with the judicial and procuratorial departments, we should explore the punishment mechanism for cracking down on illegal sand mining from the three links of mining, transportation and marketing. For the cases of illegal sand mining, we should not only dig out the "inside story" and "inside ghost", but also seize the "umbrella" behind them. If we find that there are clues to the violation of law and discipline by public officials and cadres of the "two committees" of the village, we should hand them over in time.
