On May 15, the People's Government of Puyang County, Henan Province issued the Announcement of Environmental Impact Assessment of the 20,000-ton/year Silane Polysilicon Project of Henan Saineng Silicon Industry Co., Ltd., which shows that the 20,000-ton/year Silane Polysilicon Project of Henan Saineng Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. is planned to land in Hubuzhai Town, Puyang County, Henan Province. At present, the project has been put on record by the Management Committee of Puyang Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone, and the EIA publicity procedure is in progress.
The announcement shows that the total investment of this project is 1.58 billion yuan , covering an area of 20.57 hectares.
The product plan is: annual output of 20,000 tons of solar grade polysilicon and 2,800 tons of silicon powder particles ;
The main construction contents include the construction of a polysilicon production line with an annual output of 20,000 tons. The main facilities of the production line include hydrogen production, cold hydrogenation, rectification and disproportionation, granular silicon, post-treatment/packaging, and the supporting construction of public auxiliary facilities such as slag slurry treatment, waste gas treatment, desalted water station, air separation station, circulating water station, refrigeration station, water supply station and sewage treatment. The primary water, electricity and steam required for the project construction are supplied by the park. On February 8,
2023, Henan Saineng Silicon Industry 100000 tons polysilicon project , as Henan's "Shuangbai" project, officially started construction in Puyang, Henan Province, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan and an area of 1500 mu, will reach 100000 tons per year after completion and commissioning. It is estimated that the annual sales will reach 29.6 billion yuan, providing about 500 jobs.
