Cement industry is the basic and pillar industry of industrial economy in Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province. On September 7, Quantou Group Zaozhuang Jinqiao Rotary Kiln Cement Co., Ltd. obtained the product carbon footprint evaluation certificate issued by Shandong Zhonghe Carbon Emission Service Center, which marked that the first product carbon footprint evaluation certificate of Zaozhuang cement industry was settled in Quantou, and played a leading role in the implementation of the national "double carbon" goal for the whole city. It also lays a solid foundation for Zaozhuang to speed up intelligent transformation and green factory construction.
It is understood that Quantou Group Zaozhuang Jinqiao Rotary Kiln Cement Co., Ltd. was established on March 13, 2009, and its business scope is 9 MW low-temperature waste heat power generation, sales, cement clinker , cement production, etc. The company has a 5 000 t/d cement clinker production line with a kiln size of Φ4.8 × 72 m.
Product carbon footprint certificate refers to the quantification and assessment of the total greenhouse gas emissions of a product in the process of production, transportation and sale, which is finally presented in the form of a certificate. Its purpose is to enhance the environmental awareness of consumers for products, promote the implementation of environmental protection behavior of enterprises, but also an effective way to enhance the competitiveness of enterprise products, which is of great significance for enterprises to export products and occupy foreign markets.
This carbon footprint evaluation is carried out by Zaozhuang Branch of Shandong Zhonghe Carbon Service Center. In strict accordance with the relevant requirements of Shandong General Rules for Product Carbon Footprint Evaluation and Shandong Technical Specifications and Guidelines for Product Carbon Footprint Evaluation and Evaluation Report, it is carefully implemented in every link of the product life cycle to ensure the authenticity and reliability of the evaluation results.
