On January 16, the National Energy Administration released the statistics of the national power industry in 2022.
By the end of December, the total installed capacity of power generation in China was about 2.56 billion kilowatts, up 7.8% year-on-year. Among them, the installed capacity of wind power was approximately 370 million kilowatts, representing a year-on-year increase of 11.2%; the installed capacity of solar power was approximately 390 million kilowatts, representing a year-on-year increase of 28.1%.
In 2022, the utilization hours of power generation equipment in power plants of 6000 kilowatts and above were 3687 hours, 125 hours less than same period last year. The investment in the construction of power supply projects of major power generation enterprises in China was 720.8 billion yuan, an increase of 22.8% over the same period last year. Among them, nuclear power was 67 billion 700 million yuan, an increase of 25.7% over the same period. The investment in power grid construction was 501.2 billion yuan, an increase of 2.0% over the same period last year.
