Recently, according to the Guangxi Laibin Bureau of Ecology and Environment, the environmental impact assessment of the annual output of 9.8 million tons of sand and gravel mining project in Chahualing, Xiangzhou, is to be approved.
Sandstone Aggregate Network learned that in June 2022, With nearly 290 million yuan , China Electric Power Construction Guangxi New Materials has successfully won the 18479 of 33000 tons (about 184 million tons) of recoverable reserves in Chahualing , Guangxi, and an annual output of 9.8 million tons of limestone ore for building stones , with a total planned investment of 1 billion yuan. It is planned to be laid out according to the four major systems of mine stope, sand and gravel processing, long rubber corridor and wharf, adopting fully enclosed production technology, with world-class safety, environmental protection and energy consumption indicators. The natural coastline of the supporting wharf is 188 meters long, and two 3000-ton berths are planned to be built. The designed annual throughput is 10 million tons .
The project implements the principle of "mining while restoring" , timely controls and restores the geological environment of the mine, reclaims the land occupied by the mine and the damaged land. The control rate and reclamation rate meet the requirements of mine geological environment protection and land reclamation scheme. When the mining is finished and the pit is closed, the control of geological hazards in the mining area should be completed, and the land reclamation rate should reach 91.30% .
The project meets the requirements of the Technical Policy for Mine Ecological Environment Protection and Pollution Prevention and Control that "new mines should be reclaimed while mining, and the reclamation rate of damaged land should reach more than 85%" ; The mine adopts the technologies of stripping topsoil, dumping and reclamation, which are in line with the "integrated technology of stripping, dumping, land reclamation and reclamation" encouraged in the Technical Policy of Mine Ecological Environment Protection and Pollution Prevention and Control.
