The two sides reached a cooperation intention on the investment and construction of the project with an annual output of 100g W monocrystalline silicon wafers and the project with an annual output of 50g W monocrystalline batteries (hereinafter referred to as the "Project") in Xixian New Area, Shaanxi Province. Before the implementation of the investment project signed this time, it still needs to be submitted to the company's internal authorities for approval.
The announcement shows that the project will start construction in Jinghe New Town, Xixian New District. The construction time of the infrastructure project is about 18 months, and the project will be put into operation by stages. According to the agreement, from the date when the relevant parties of each phase of the project sign the handover form of all the projects in the current period, the production time of each phase of the project will not exceed 6 months, and the production time will not exceed 24 months.
It is reported that the 100GW monocrystalline silicon wafer + 50GW monocrystalline battery project invested this time is close to two-thirds of the total silicon wafer capacity of 150GW in 2022, exceeding 80% of the monocrystalline battery capacity of 60GW last year; its scale is the largest in the photovoltaic industry.
According to media reports, the total investment of the contracted project is 45.2 billion yuan, and the annual tax payment is expected to reach 6 billion yuan after production, which will promote the employment of 15000 people. The project will be the photovoltaic production base with the highest capacity in the world.
