On December 27, Xiexin Optoelectronics held the foundation-laying ceremony of the world's first gigawatt large-size (2.4 m X 1.2 m) perovskite production base in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. The project plans to build the world's first large-scale 2GW perovskite production line in two phases. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed in October next year, and the production line will be completed in mid-2025.
In addition, the 1 m X 2 m perovskite module launched by Xiexin Optoelectronics on November 23 broke the industry ceiling, and the photoelectric conversion efficiency reached 18.04%, which means that the door of mass production of perovskite battery technology is really open.
