2023, the Ministry of Emergency Management solicited opinions from the public on three mandatory national standards, including the Specification for Personal Protective Equipment Part 5: Of which:
1. 47 opinions and suggestions were received in the Specification for Personal Protective Equipment Part 5: Building Materials (Draft for Soliciting Opinions), which mainly involved the identification of hazard factors and the applicable categories of personal protective equipment. Among them, 42 were adopted and partially adopted, and 5 were not adopted. The opinions not adopted mainly involved the understanding of the scope of application of the standard, which had been communicated;
2. 92 opinions and suggestions were received in Part 6 of the Specification for Personal Protective Equipment: Electric Power (Draft for Soliciting Opinions), which mainly involved the types of work, the identification of hazard factors and the requirements for the allocation of protective equipment. Among them, 79 were adopted and partially adopted, while 13 were not adopted. The opinions not adopted mainly involved the understanding of the applicability of standards and protective equipment. 3. 37 opinions and suggestions were received in the Specification for Personal Protective Equipment Part 7: Electronics (Draft for Comments), mainly involving operation categories, hazard identification, etc. Among them, 29 were adopted and partially adopted, and 8 were not adopted. The opinions not adopted were mainly related to the understanding of personal protective equipment under specific hazard factors, which had been communicated.
