Affected by the special geographical environment of Xizang, the clinker is affected by the lack of oxygen in the firing process, which leads to the fuel can not be fully burned and burned in time, and can not reach the predetermined high temperature. For this reason, Gaozheng Building Materials set up a special research and development team, and sought help from many parties. After hundreds of days of field visits to find suitable raw materials and many calcination experiments, it finally overcame the difficulties of insufficient combustion and timely combustion of fuel due to the lack of oxygen in the plateau, and provided moderate heat for the construction of dams for Laohuzui Hydropower Station and Yanghu Hydropower Station. It changes the current situation that special cement can not be produced in high plateau.
In 2010, in order to ensure the supply of low-alkali cement for Duobu Hydropower Station, Gaozheng Building Materials arranged technicians to travel all over 7 counties and 1 districts of Lhasa City to search for low-alkali raw materials, carry out a large number of chemical analysis of alkali content of raw materials and test the proportion adaptation of small mills, and after nearly a year of sampling and testing. In 2011, the calcination ratio and cement ratio of low-alkali clinker were determined, which were inspected by the National Cement Quality Inspection Center and Duobu Hydropower Station, and all the indicators met the national standards and the construction requirements of Duobu Hydropower Station.
Over the mountains, all the way through the thorns, the special cement varieties of Gaozheng building materials have become one of the cement enterprises with complete varieties and complete mass production in the Xizang.
Nowadays, Gaozheng building materials are involved in projects all over the Xizang, such as urban roads, highways, railways, power stations, houses and other buildings, all of which have the figure of Gaozheng cement .
