Summary of railway projects planned to start this year and next year!

each project is summarized as follows (since October 1, 2023):

1. Hefei-Wuhan, Weifang-Suqian, Shaoyang-Yongzhou, Guangdong section of Nanshen high-speed rail, Huangtong-Baise, Pingliang-Qingyang, Wenshan-Mengzi Railway. The preliminary design of Zhengzhou hub and Jinhua expansion and reconstruction related projects has been approved, and the construction has been tendered;

2. The Ministry of Ecology and Environment has suspended the review of the environmental impact report of Changsha-Ganzhou high-speed rail, and is improving the relevant measures of environmental impact assessment of Changsha urban section, and the preliminary design is to be approved;

3. The feasibility study report of the Yichang-Fuling section of the high-speed rail along the Yangtze River has been assessed by the National Development and Reform Commission and is awaiting approval; the preliminary review of land use has been approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources;

4. The State Railway Group has completed the review of the feasibility study of the Yichang-Changde section of the Hunan high-speed rail and is promoting the processing of the relevant preconditions for the approval of the feasibility study;

5. The preliminary review of the land for the Jiaoluoping section of the Hunan high-speed rail has been formally approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources;

6. The preliminary design of the Zhangzhou-Shantou high-speed rail has been approved, and the conditions for construction bidding have been met;

7. The feasibility study of the Wuping-Meizhou section of the Longlong high-speed rail has been approved, and the preliminary design has passed the review of the State Railway Group at the end of November and is awaiting approval;

8. The Hepu-Zhanjiang high-speed rail is affected by the environmental impact assessment of the Guangxi section, and the preliminary design is awaiting approval; the feasibility study of the Zhanjiang-Haikou high-speed rail is awaiting approval;

9. The feasibility study consultation for the river-crossing channel section of Yantai-Xichangyi high-speed rail has been completed, and the approval of the feasibility study is in progress;

10. Only the connection scheme of the Mianyang-Suining section of the Mianyang-Suining Intercity Railway has not been approved in the preliminary design, and it is expected to start construction early next year;

11. The preliminary design of Zhongwei-Pingliang Railway Expansion and Reconstruction Project has passed the review of the State Railway Corporation;

12. Newly added annual planned commencement and reserved commencement projects:
