The principal person in charge of Xinhua County confessed that in the process of resettlement housing construction, there were indeed supervision problems, and the quality control of construction units was not in place.
It is understood that the relevant responsible persons of the Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Housing and Construction Department have arrived at the scene for verification and disposal on the afternoon of the 28th. The Hunan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has noticed the problems exposed in this incident. quality control of the project is not in place and has not been rectified
in time. The third-party authoritative inspection agency has been invited to carry out the verification
of the Fujiacun resettlement site in Menggong Town, which is one of the relocating the poor resettlement sites in Xinhua County, Loudi City, Hunan Province. 808 villagers from 189 households in Menggong Town were centrally resettled. The resettlement house was completed in December 2018, and the villagers moved into the new house in May 2019.

Xinhua County Government said: "There are still problems in our local supervision, and it is true that Hunan Construction Engineering Group has not done a good job in checking the quality of construction projects.". At that time, according to the consultation, all of them had to be rectified and accepted by the end of last year. The strength and quality of the next step of rectification should be passed.
Xinhua County Party Committee and County Government told the Voice of China that they had held a special meeting for the first time to study and set up a leading group for the rectification of the quality of resettlement houses led by comrades in charge of the county Party committee and county government. Only through systematic and comprehensive testing and appraisal can we judge whether the house can be safely occupied. In addition, the state also has relevant norms and standards, such as dangerous houses or safety levels, which must be based on data. On the afternoon of the
28th, the reporter saw at the Fujiacun resettlement site that technicians and constructors were already working on the model room for reinforcement and maintenance. The person in charge of the project sent to the site by Hunan Construction Engineering Group, the construction unit of the sample room
