Recently, the First Company of the Second Bureau of China Construction won the bid for two key photovoltaic projects in Xinjiang, namely, the 3.2 million kilowatt photovoltaic project of the 4 million kilowatt wind power and photovoltaic integration project in Nilka County and the 1 million kilowatt photovoltaic project in Kuitun City. The total contract value is over 14.4 billion yuan, and the total installed capacity is 4.2 million kilowatts.

China Green Power Nilka County covers an area of 150000 mu with a contract value of 10.8 billion yuan . It involves Subutai Township, Kalasu Township, Jiahawuslatai Township, Nilekwuzan Township and other four township areas, constructs a fixed inclination photovoltaic system with a capacity of 3200 MW, and constructs five 220 kV step-up gathering stations. After the completion of the
project, it can provide 5.7 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity for the power grid every year, save 1.73 million tons of standard coal and reduce 4.72 million tons of carbon emissions every year after it is put into operation. According to the forecast of electricity demand, the electricity generated by the project can be consumed locally, which is of great significance for promoting the sustainable development of regional energy, economy and environment. At the same time, it will play an important role in promoting the clean and low-carbon energy transformation in Xinjiang and fully implementing the national "double carbon" strategic deployment. Located in Kuitun City, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the
project covers an area of 2208 hectares, with a contract value of 3.5 billion yuan and a planned installed capacity of 1000 MW. Two 220kV gathering stations and one 110kV booster station will be built. After the
project is
put into operation, it will generate 1.6 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in the first year, save about 400000 tons of standard coal annually, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1.02 million tons, continue to implement the concept of sustainable development of environmental protection, and realize the sustainable development of clean electricity in the region. Transform the advantages of natural resources into economic benefits.
In order to ensure the target of construction period, the two project teams quickly assembled personnel and equipment, set off a construction boom, and organized the project construction to advance efficiently. On the first day of construction, 2100 people and 430 machines were put into the Nilek project; The Kuitun project has invested 1600 people and more than 230 machines of all kinds, and has made every effort to make a good start.
