Another Chinese Photovoltaic Company Plans to Invest $350 Million to Build a Factory in Vietnam

Bowei Group, a Chinese enterprise, signed a land lease contract in Cong Hoa Industrial Park, Vietnam, to build photovoltaic panels, solar energy conversion modules and other factories.

On August 21, in Cong Hoa Industrial Zone, Hai Duong Province, Vietnam, Bowei Group (100% Chinese investment) signed a land lease contract with Vietnam Urban Development Joint Stock Company and Rubber Industrial Park (Cong Hoa Industrial Zone Infrastructure Investor) to implement the project.

Bowei Group has leased a piece of land with a total area of 20 hectares in Cong Hoa Industrial Zone, with a total investment of about 350 million US dollars. Photovoltaic cell panels, solar energy conversion module panels, high-tech ribbon alloy panels and other plants will be built ; they are expected to be put into operation in 2024. According to

It is reported that the company's subsidiary in Vietnam, Boviet Solar, was established in 2013. As of 2023, Boviet Solar's annual manufacturing capacity of photovoltaic cells and modules is 3.0 GW, and its products are mainly sold to the U.S. market.
